We are pleased to announce that Impath's i5110ET multi-protocol is now listed on the Florida DOT APL. APL # 78461401214021.
The i5110ET offers MPEG2, H.264, MPEG4 and MJPEG. Multiple streams of varying or similar protocols can be retrieved on command (RTSP). The i5110ET also offer an Auto-Start feature where one of the streams can be automatically launched on power up without a client request.
A typical application may be to Auto-Start a multicast MPEG2 stream at 4M, D1 for TMC video (backwards compatible with Impath i1000 decoders). A Wowza media distribution server may request an H.264 Stream, 4CIF/512K for web distribution, while other Clients may launch their own H.264 stream CIF/1M through VLC, browser, or other application for viewing, recording, etc.
The i5110ET encoder also offers 2 terminal servers for PTZ, RVDS, DMS or other serial applications. Other options such as video clip storage and on board analytics are available. more information

Blackhawk Enterprises and Camera Lowering Systems are pleased to announce that the CLS lowering device CDP-16HD series has been tested and approved by Florida DOT TERL. The CLS lowering device has the APL certification number: 78561601709013.
Blackhawk Enterprises has now provided RTMS G4 detectors with internal H.264 cameras on two projects. These cameras allow for standards based encoding of video that can be used for locations where CCTV is not present, and assists in setup and monitoring of the detector and detector site.
Trafficland has proven interoperability with the Impath i5110ET H.264 (multi-protocol) encoder and the Impath i4110E MPEG2 encoder. Trafficland is providing live streaming video in Miami Florida in conjunction with FDOT District 6 from Impath i4110E encoders.
7-8-2010 Impath and Barco interoperability
Impath and Barco have announced that Barco's SVC-2 Streaming Video card with firmware 2.2.7 or higher is now compatible with both the H.264 and MPEG2 streams from an Impath i5110ET, allowing for easy migration to this new encoding platform.
6-19-2010 Camera Cameleon Supports Impath 5000 series product line
ICX/360 Surveillance announces that their newly released Video Display Driver is fully compatible with all Impath product lines, including the new multi-protocol i5110ET encoder. The Video Display Driver is independent of product SDKs and provides a more stable platform. The new Video Display Driver is fully compatible with the following Impath products:
-VSG -i1000 -i4000 -i5110 (ET and ET-L) -i5120 -5210 -i5410
4-7-09 RTMS G4 listed on the Florida APL
The RTMS G4 detector was tested to the stringent Florida TERL specifications and successfully passed the requirements. As a result, the RTMS G4 is now certified for use in the State of Florida. (see certification letter)
2-15-09 Impath introduces complete line of H.264 encoders
Impath Networks has introduced its i5000 series of multi-stream, multi-protocol H.264 encoders. Single channel, triple stream H.264 encoders are offered in fully NEMA rated versions, semi-hardened and non-hardened offerings. Video analytics are also available in certain models. Multi-protocol selection (H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4) allow migration to H.264 while utilizing existing investment in head-end decoding and software solutions.
1-5-09 Impath Encoders and Decoders listed on the Florida APL
Blackhawk Enterprises is pleased to announce that Impath's i4000 series encoders and i1000 series decoders are listed on the formal ITS APL. The encoders, previously listed on the APL due to the ITB contract, underwent extensive 3rd party independent NEMA testing on temperature, voltage, vibration, shock and transients as defined in the FDOT specifications for Video Encoders.
9-02-08 Vicon Domes listed on the Florida APL
Blackhawk Enterprises is pleased to announce that Vicon SVFT-PRS and SVFT-W series domes are listed on the formal APL. The domes, which have previously been listed on the APL due to the ITB contract, had to undergo 3rd party independent NEMA testing on temperature, vibration, shock and transients, as well as wind load testing as defined in the FDOT Specifications for CCTV.

1-22-07 Treehaven Field Boxes (go to datasheet link)
Blackhawk Enterprises has entered into a non-exclusive resale agreement with Treehaven Technologies to resell their Roadway Vision Systems Field Box. The Roadway Vision Systems field box is a rack-mounted local control panel for CCTV Cabinets, providing power to the camera, as well as local interface for a laptop or joystick for PTZ control and video monitoring.

The G4 detector provides 12 lanes of detection with a 250 foot detection range, at the unbelievable power consumption of 3W. Additional options include integrated camera, wireless options, etc. .....

Blackhawk now offers 1 year advance replacement on Vicon products
12-12-07 Blackhawk is pleased to announce it's new status as a Vicon platinum dealer. All Vicon orders placed with Blackhawk will now offer a one year advance replacement policy (previously 3 months) from date of invoice. The three year beneficial use warranty from date of installation remains the same.
